PASTELLY

Hey welcome back Fashion people! For my second post that related about fashion, I want to share my experience in spying the fashion of Thai Girls! WOW! So, this is specially for the young people, hahaha. Well, Thailand fashion is very popular in Indonesia after the popularity of Korean’s Style. Elegant, unique and cheap which make Indonesian people interested with Thailand’s Fashion. Nowadays, there so many online stores that sell clothes directly from Thailand. So, what is the top 10 that you must have? Here we go….

Well, Thailand girls are known as being some of the world’s most beautiful women. They are really care about their style and their beauty. Almost similar like Korean girls which their fashion is about feminism, cute and stylish. And for the outfit color, Thai girls prefer with pastel color or monochrome. So, that’s all about my spying experience of Thai girls fashion look so far. Thanks for reading and see you!

Well and here is my look with some of those THINGS hahaha, What do you think? =D

Warm Hugs,

What will you do if your best friend visiting you when you are in the other country?
I'm so excited because this weekend my best friend visit me here in BANG-KOK! But exactly, I’m in Pathum Thani. It is Fanny. She was my classmate in Junior High School but we still have a good friendship until now. I’m so happy for her coming! Like.. It’s been a while we haven’t met because she’s busy as the flight attendance, so it’s quite difficult to meet her. But then lucky me, she takes holiday to visit me in Thailand yay!.  Then our trip starts on Saturday morning on 17th August, well it's right on Indonesian Independence Day (our country).

DAY 1 #TRIPWITHFANNY

1.       START IN GRAND PALACE
Because I stay in Rangsit. I need to plan our trip to Bangkok. And because we have only 1 day to trip in Bangkok, I asked her to visit Grand Palace in the morning. So, we start at 8.30 AM. We took a van from Thammasat Rangsit Campus to go to Thammasat Prachan directly because Thammasat Prachan is near to the Grand Palace. And it’s only 40 baht for the van. After we arrived, we just walked to go there. Ohh, I almost forget, so because I heard that the entry to GP's ticket for foreigner almost 500 baht. I was thinking to get there for FREE. Anddd.. then we wore uniform to get free entry. Actually I have been there after the orientation in Thammasat Prachan, but I just want  to accompany her to get there without cashing out my money. SAVE THE MONEY! Yeah. I was so scared that we both will be arrested by the security cause we just go ahead without getting in the line entry for foreigner. But I was told by the staff of Thammasat that it's fine and free if we have card identity as a student in Thailand and don't forget to wear uniform 😬✌🏻

What is Grand Palace?
Well, Grand Palace is the most visited tourist attraction in Bangkok. The place just like the kind of temple and tells about the historical of Ramayana which is painted on around the walls. The temples are very beautiful, they have their own name, but I don’t remember haha. And after that you can also see a big building, it just seems like in Europe! Well, if you visit Bangkok you must visit this place and enjoy for all the bulding. But, you have to carry your hat or umbrella, because if you go  there in the afternoon, it mst be VERY HOT! Don’t forget your sunblock!

2.       WANGLANG MARKET IS THE BEST!
Have you heard this market? If you are a student in Thammasat Pracahan, you will know this place. So umm, this is my favorito market in Bangkok (for this time). Because it’s really close with Prachan and my Indonesian friend’s dorm! And If I want to go there from Prachan, it’s only 3 baht to pass the river with boat. And Wanglang is right at the opposite of the boat entry in Prachan. (You should pass the Chao Praya river)

What I can get in Wanglang?
Almost everything! Just same like common market in Bangkok. Many people go there to clothes, food, drink, housing appliances and many more! Sometimes I can get stuck because there’s a lot of people there. Then both of us get a couple cute Stitch T-shirt! And it’s only a hundred baht! :3

3.       WE GO TO KHAOSAN THEN!
This is my third times to visit here, so when I arrived at the first time in Bangkok, I stayed near the Khaosan Road in Rambuttri. And the new thing that I know is, there’s a hidden souvenir near the roadside. I’m not sure where is it exactly, because I just followed my friend to get there. Ohhh, we went there with the another of my friend from Indonesia anyway.

We wore couple T-shirt hihi

Khaosan just looks like Kuta. Both of them almost have same environment, but Khaosan is smaller than Kuta. Do you know Kuta? Kuta is the most famous district in Bali. You have to visit this place and go to the Kuta Beach! Also you can try the extreme street food in Khaosan like fried insect (caterpillar, scorpion, etc) I know you have known about these and kind of Pad Thai, it's Thai's noodle.

DAY 2 #TRIPWITHFANNY

SWAI PATTAYA'S GIRL!
Wohooooo! Pattaya! First thought you will scream and excited. Yeahh, wanna go to Thailand's beach? you can visit Pattaya. But it takes less than 3 hours from Bangkok. So, firstly we took a skytrain in Victory Monument's BTS and go to Ekkamai, 42 baht. And then, go downstairs from Ekkamai to go to Bus Terminal and reserve ticket to go Pattaya, it's 108 baht. Oh, I didn't go only with Fanny. I also invited my classmates from Japan who's as an exchange student just like me. On the way to go Pattaya, I met with another Indonesian spouse and she asked us to join her to go to Silver*** I forget name -____-. But then we canceled to join them because we have limit time and we need to go back at 6 PM at the time. Then FINALLY! go to the beach! But, unfortunately the beach is not as good as in Kuta beach, I guess. There's some trash in it and the color of the beach is not really good. I just disappointed with the beach. But that's fine so far, we keep take a selfie with my friends. Yeah! This is the longest journey I ever take since in Thailand. And for going back to home, we took a car called saktiaw? ruktiaw? kuetiaw? LOL I forget the nameeee. Then pay for 100 baht/person. And take a bus from Ayutthaya to MoChit. It closer to get to Rangsit from MoChit, better than from Bangkok and go back again.

Swaiii, Kawaiii, Cantikk

DAY 3 #TRIPWITHFANNY

AYUTTHAYA WE'RE IN!
For the last day, I accompanyy her here (she really wants to ride an elephant) and unfortunately the price is very expensiveee, it's about 1000 baht for 1 hour. Because I need to save my money, I just wait her outside. Oh, we took a van from the Victory Monument to go to Ayutthaya and it's only 60 baht. Actually, we just back and forth from Rangsit to Victory Monument and go to Ayutthaya LOL so waste time and money. Due to we only have limit time, cause she has to leave at 5 PM to go to airport, we only take 1 way to the elephant and go back again. And we took a Tuk Tuk. hahaha finally I tried them.

WE GET OFF IN FUTURE PARK
Well, Future Park? sounds like a cool park hahaha, but it is not, it's a Mall near Rangsit. Yeahh, it's not in our check list trip anyway. But because she wanted to get in, soo just get inside LOL. And then took a van from Future Park to Thammasat Rangsit.

LAST HOURS...
We were really in hurry, we took a bus to Don Mueang Airport and there was a long traffic jam! Ughhh. I was so confused, I'm afraid that she will be late. But then, yeahhh she's late.the plane is already take off. I just want to accompany her until she can get back to Jakarta in that night. Finally she got a next flight at 8.55 PM but she has to pay again and more expensive ticket :( I'm so sorry about that. At least, I have to responsible because of that.. not really happy ending :( But I'm happy that she has visited me :,) She's really good FRIEND. MY BEST!

Well hey FASHION PEOPLE welcome back to my lovely blog!! I have to greet you guys like that because now I’m going to start talking about Fashionnn yeayyy! Then whyyyy? Do I have no story about study aboard? Do I stuck with idea for the next post? And the answer is YESSSS BOTH OF THEM! Okay, Let me tell who is the real me. Actually I’m just a normal person, I’m not a superhero or a person who can stop the rain and play with that, no I’m not Daniel Atlas, hahha OK just kidding. Actually I take a Fashion Design program in my university, ISI Denpasar. And for this semester we get a subject about Fashion Journalist. Unfortunately I can’t take that class (because I’m in Thailand as a BJM student aww) So, I’m going to do it by myself. In addition I ever had a dream to be a Writer in a Fashion Magazine when I was in High School. So lucky me, BJM is a Journalism Program so it’s not really far from my real major, I can connect them into one purpose *YEAH. As you know that I’m not a good Writer even a good Speaker or a good Journalist. But now, I will try as I can! If you think that I AM TERRIBLE.. you can judge me below on the comment box after finishing to read this post and please give me suggestion! SOOO LET’S GET STARTED!!

Well guys, I almost finish now. That’s all actually are my simple short tips if you want to be a free fashion journalist for your own FASHION BLOG. So I mean there’s no deadline for you because this is for you and by you also the content also up to you hahaha. Soo, maybe for the next post I will talk about fashion again but I haven’t decided what is it. Are you curious? :3

Hahaha, thanks for reading !

On last Saturday night I went to the another kind of night market in Bangkok. They called it Train Market. Yesss, exactly it's near the train station, IT'S SUBWAY!! I think It was my first experience to take a subway LOL, because there's no one in Bali (as you know that Bali is too small city, that's why). Okay, I wasn't going alone, I had 5 girls with me that night hahha, I think It was seem like a Girls Day Out? *YEAY***  two of my friends are Indonesian (Nonik & Chyta), one Japanese (Moe), one Korean (Teresia) and one is Thai, she was as our guide her name is Fon. And FYI: "Fon" means Rain in Thai language.

If you want to go to this Train Market you can take a bus number 524 from bus stop near Tha Prachan Street then you pay for 16 baht and it takes almost 1 hour, lil bit far indeed. And after that, you have to stop at MRT (subway) Hua Lamphong. And buy a token (it is a round black plastic coin as the token for the train). Just say that you want to go to Thailand Cultural Center, that is the name of the station for the market I guess I'm not sure hahaha 'cause I followed my friend *sorry* and for the payment, you need to pay 28 baht per person.

This the name of the Market

The Market is a hidden place, hahaha because we need through a mall firstly and then you will see the market behind the mall. There was a lot of food court! Seems like the night market in Rangsit. But they have more choices for the FOOD! So then, we decided to eat noodle in one big bowl to eat together for our dinner (we arrived at around 7 pm I guess). Well, this also my first time to try the Thai noodle, this is not PadThai, but I don't have any idea for the food. And also there was a bowl of TomYum with the kind of vegetable that has a strange taste, I didn't know what is that, at least It was strange for me and my Indonesian friend also said like that. That's fine so far... like my mom says that "as long as you're hungry, everything will taste delicious to eat". She is right. I also bought a big glass of tea, yeaa it was a big beverage! and it only 25 baht.

With my girls <3

Then, we looked around for snack! Because there are a lot of choices for food, I decided to buy mini dorayaki for the dessert hahaha it looks cute anyway. And sorry I don't have the photo. Actually I also can buy it in the night market in Rangsit, and the cost is also same. But my Nonik (my Indonesian's friend) brought a Thai dessert, I forget the name .___. It is sweet. But I don't really like it. So, It looks like this ::::

Ohhhh, almost forget! We also bought an ICE CREAM ROLL! This is very cool Ice Cream style. I don't know how to explain it, but you can see it when they make your ice cream and you can mix your own flavors! So, there's a video that show how the Ice Cream is made. :)

It was interesting night, go to the new place is my favorite! Oh, before we got back, I tried to drink smoothies whisky for the first time, LOL. It was because my friend want to try it too. Andddddd, I don't like it hahaha. My mom will get mad at me if she knows it. Okay, for the next morning I had an accident, this is not really serious for you but this is soooo serious for me. I A T E P O R K ! OH NOO I did it!! That wasn't my fault.. It was because the daughter of the women (the cooker). She gave me wrong menu. I ordered a rise with an egg and vegetable without any meat. It looks same as what I want, but there was some meat on my meal, I thought it was a chicken, but then the women said sorry to me because my meal just swapped. I was shocked then, because the taste of pork just same like chicken. It was YUMMYY hahaha. FYI: I can't eat pork because I'm Moslem. It's OKAYY I'M STILL ALIVE. And I dont hate that women, because that was not her fault even her daughter. It was because of my destiny, I need to try it as my experience hahaha. At least I know the taste of Pork :) but beef is still the most delicious meat! EXACTLY RENDANGGGG.What is RENDANG? it's very DELICIOUS FOOD from my country! If you visit Indonesia, you need to taste it. It's my favorite food unfortunately can't find it in here... does anyone know this food? or where can I get this? *leave comment hahhaa.

Thanks for reading (^o^)/~
